Please note that the entire organisation of hen and stag breaks is comprised of separate activities and bookings and therefore must all be treated separately, in terms of bookings and deposits due. Also note that our terms and condition will differ from other service providers and we also ensure that you are aware of their terms upon making your booking.
Please note that a contract between you and us only comes into existence once you have received a confirmation email and have confirmed acceptance of our booking rules. We deal with only one main customer for all bookings and arrangements, who is liable for the amounts due to us. This customer must be over 18.
It is your responsibility to check any documentation provided by you to us, as if any details are incorrect, it may not be possible to make changes at a later date.
You must pay a non-refundable £50 holding fee to hold your booking. Banter Hen and Stag Weekends allow 2 weeks to invite your guests to pay a £50 total fee deposit which is non-refundable and non-transferable. The final balance must be paid no less than 6 weeks prior to your hen or stag break. Please note that payments should be made of all individual members of the party but we prefer to deal with a main contact person within your party. If you are booking within 6 weeks of the start date, you must pay the amount due by a valid credit or debit card, cheque, bank transfer or cash. There is no charge for payment by cheque, bank transfer or cash. There is a £1 fee for payment by debit card and a 3.5% fee for payment by credit card.
Should the balance not be received by us in time, we will inform the customer who has made the booking with us that the payment is overdue. If payment is not obtained within 3 days, be aware that we can cancel your booking and retain your deposit. Please note that should your numbers drop below 10 after booking with us, the price per person may increase to cover the minimum number of guests required for an activity to go ahead.
We always endeavour to meet any special requests you may have but please be aware that you may incur an additional charge. If so, we will inform you (usually by letter) and pass on your requests to the supplier. All requests are subject to availability.
We reserve the right to make any changes to descriptions on our website as sometimes, errors can occur, but we work hard to ensure the accuracy of all information on our website. Please note that all images also represent the product/services but are not actual representations.
All prices that we quote to you will be correct at the time of booking but price changes can and do occur and we reserve the right to reflect this in our prices. We will make all efforts to minimise errors and will inform you of price changes via our website and through specific confirmation with you.
5. Cancellations or changes
Hen and Stag Weekends try to prevent changes and cancellations wherever possible but we must reserve the right to do so. Cancellations are fortunately very rare but if enforced we will ask you to accept alternative arrangements or cancel your booking to receive a full refund.
Please note that compensation will not be payable if a change or cancellation is made due to unforeseeable circumstances such as weather conditions, not being able to reach the minimum booking numbers required or failure to pay on time.In cases where compensation is due, we will pay full compensation in accordance with our compensation procedure.
We will try to accommodate your changes or requests, although extra charges may apply depending on the specific changes involved and any charges enforced by the suppliers we work with.
Please note that insurance premiums and amendment charges are not refundable in the event of cancellation. You must notify us of any cancellations 40 days before the deposit is due for a full refund.
6. Our liability
Hen and Stag Weekends does not be responsible for any injury, illness, death or expense incurred as a result of your participation in the activities booked with us. You are responsible for accepting responsibility for taking part in any activities that could be considered hazardous. We cannot accept responsibility for any services you have not booked through us, e.g. hotel rooms.
7. Complaints procedure
Please inform us of any complaints as quickly as possible to ensure a swift resolution, ideally within 14 days. As long as set conditions have been followed, the matter will be investigated and a reply sent to you within 4 weeks of the complaint.
8. Weather Conditions
There is always a risk that weather conditions could jeopardise the activities you are able to engage in and although we won't take liability for this, Banter Hen and Stag Weekends can help you find alternative activities. However, there may be additional charges involved.
We kindly request that you accept the rules and regulations of our suppliers, including hotel and accommodation providers, and act appropriately so as not to cause harm, damage or offence to other people in the vicinity or your own party. Many activities involve alcohol but being under the influence of alcohol or drugs whilst participating in specific indoor and outdoor events is strictly forbidden. We will inform you of your behavioural responsibilities and reserve the right to cancel your booking without a refund or compensation, if you are found to have acted unreasonably.
You are strongly advised to take out adequate personal insurance for your protection if you choose to undertake in any hazardous activities to provide cover for death, accidental injury, travel etc.
Some activities you may book require a good level of basic fitness, strength and stamina and you must make the judgement as to if the activities are appropriate for you. Many activities may not be suitable for those with any disability, illness or allergies. If you have an existing medical condition, or disability, or a member of your party has, please let us know before any bookings are made.
12. Terms and Conditions of Suppliers
Our suppliers have their own terms and conditions for services, which may exclude some liabilities and are available from us upon request.
13. Passports and visas documentation
Failure of any of your party to have a valid passport, visa or health checks/immunisations will invalidate any claims of negligence or wrong-doing on our part, as these responsibilities are ones you must be personally aware of.
